Rose budded on Fortuniana Root-stock
Since the 1950’s Fortuniana has been considered the high-performing rootstock for the southern U.S. Dr. S.C. McFadden of the University of Florida’s Horticulture Department saw the potential of Fortuniana based upon its resistance to nematodes and the extensive, vigorous root system.
